Principal's Message

Dear PS 181 family,

I want to extend deepest gratitude to the 181Q community, for welcoming me in my first year as the principal. Throughout this year we have proven that when we partner together in support of our scholars, we can do remarkable things. 

At the heart of our work and partnership is a focus on the whole child. We recognize that academic success is deeply connected to social-emotional wellness, and we strive to create an environment where students feel seen, valued, and supported. By fostering resilience, confidence, and a keen sense of agency, we empower our students to believe in themselves and their ability to shape their futures.

We will continue the pursuit of excellence in Academics, Sports, Arts, and Technology, and engage our scholars in a variety of clubs and extra-curricular activities designed to foster and strengthen academic and social skills. We believe that education is strongest when schools and families work together in trust and shared purpose. By building meaningful connections with our community, we ensure that every child is supported both in and out of the classroom.

At P.S. 181Q, we are not only educating students, but we are also developing compassionate, capable, and confident individuals who are ready to contribute positively to the world around them.

It is an honor to serve this community and to be part of each child’s journey toward success. Together we will continue to make great strides towards our goals.
