WELCOME TO 3K! Starting school is both exciting and a little bit frightening, and we are looking forward to working closely with you to make this a wonderful learning experience for everyone. This year we will embark on a journey to explore, experiment, learn, and grow. Our days will be filled with play-based learning, teamwork, and exploration. In 3 K, our curriculum is based on ten interest areas over a ten month program year. These units are modeled around the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes. We begin with routines, and the establishment of the classroom community, then moves to more abstract concepts as the year progresses.
